Computer VIRUS

WHO in the world has time to sit and MAKE a computer VIRUS that my kid can download.
We have never had problems...
that is until Landon was CRAZY enough to learn to climb on the chairs and then POUND on the keyboard...
UGH! I have to put the Computer Seat on it's side so he can't do it anymore...
Now he just climbs up the seats and dances on the table... I'll have to take a picture next time! ~
So because of this virus I have been away from the computer for a few days... Thank Goodness for Brother In Laws who know how to clean up a VIRUS! THANKS STEVEN!
I have not been away from picture taking though, so I will have to update you on our life very soon, when I get around to it! Until then ...

Check Up ~

I went to the Dentist this morning...
I had to get a babysitter so I would not have to take the kids. (THANKS MOMMY AMBER)
It was just a check up, but I HATE THE DENTIST...
I only got teary eyed ONCE while he talked about my teeth and what needs to be done.
Not sure if you remember but this time last year I got my teeth pulled, all my WISDOM teeth and a few others... I had to be put out, so the cost was a little more. We just finished the payments on that, so we are READY to start the new payment plan for fixing everything now . . .
Matt's new job is switching over insurance coverage at the end of this month, we decided we better max out what we can and get some stuff done. After looking at what I have going on . . . after root canals, fillings, crowns and IMPLANTS It is only going to cost about 15,000.00 YEAH that was NOT a typo . . . 15 THOUSAND...
My FOUR Implants are a MAJORITY of that but HELLO . . .  ( THREE thousand an implant... I just might wait on those)
My mouth will be one of the most expensive things we have bought... that is like a car...
LUCKILY I have time to do it in! We better start Saving RIGHT!~ :) MOM DAD . . . wanna help a daughter out??
I go back Wednesday... PRAY for me PLEASE!!

BOOTY BOOTY!!

This was TOO funny not to post . . .

I took Hailey to the potty and after she went *AHEM* potty. Part of the "Potty Routine" is for her to turn around and put the seat down and flush the toilet after she wipes of course . . .
This time she was bare bum and I could not resist squeezing that little tooshie . . .
As I pinched it I said " Booty Booty Booty" to which Hailey turned around to me STRAIGHT FACE - FINGER IN THE AIR and said "No Mommy, never do that again." And she pulled up her panties and walked away . . . She CRACKS me up!~

House Hunting 2010

WHY do people decorate the way they do??
I have to admit for the most part I really like the houses I have seen, and MOST people's decorations. But when you have an open house WHY would you not clean up?? Or when you are taking pictures of your house you know are going online to help persuade people to purchase your house WHY would you not clean up your clutter??
Anyways... We were OUTBID on my dream home... I have been secretly hoping that the other people's loan goes bad. I know I know... If it is meant to be then it will happen but UGH!
So we are STILL looking. We found a smaller house with only three bedrooms but it is in a GREAT neighborhood! We would be in a new ward with this one too...
We have found a house we would LOVE to see but our Agent can't get a hold of the other agent . . .
House Hunting SUCKS! I feel bad going to other peoples houses and "judging" their house. Luckily no one has been home while we have been searching, but I still wonder if they are secretly tape recording what I am saying...
Matt and I originally wanted to purchase a new house. We have decided that it is not always a good idea because you never really know WHO is moving in next to you and how well they are going to keep up their property. We want to buy in an area that is more mature. Like the houses are well taken care of, and you can tell that it will stay that way.
Why does Clovis not have a house like this???
In a perfect world my ideal house would have 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an open kitchen and a bigger backyard with parking for the boat... I don't think that is TOO much to ask, but apparently it is. PRAYERS our way that we can find a house would me appreciated!! :)

CLEAN UP CLEAN UP...

EVERYBODY EVERYWHERE . . .
(no I am not condoning Barney songs, I just appreciate the clean up one)
Today is FRIDAY . . . that is our CLEAN UP day!!
Laundry CHECK
Kitchen CHECK
Bathrooms CHECK
All I have left to do is Vacuum . . .
I started by Vacuuming the couches. I do this every other month or so.
The kids LOVE it because they get to jump all over the cushions . . .
Landon was ALL over the place.
I cleaned out the canister before I started and it FREAKS me out that there was this much CRAP in and on my couches... anyone else look at that kind of stuff ??
Hailey got Lunch on her "Sleeping Aurora" Dress she was wearing earlier, don't judge me, she has panties on . . . but I wanted to show Amalia and Brent just how much she loves her present! :)
HAPPY FRIDAY TO ALL!!

Quick Trip

We went on a QUICK trip to Sacramento to see Family and Friends.
My Friend Sara Marie Simpson just had her second baby, and she was going to be in town, so I KNEW I needed to visit!! I drove up with the kids Monday morning and drove home Wednesday night.
We stayed with my parents, and enjoyed it VERY much. The kids are SO spoiled by both of their grandparents, they do not know how lucky they are.
Would you believe I did not take a single picture the whole time I was there? HAHA!
Monday we just relaxed and hung out. Tuesday we went SHOPPING and I scored at The Children's Place and Carters Outlet. I LOVE getting good quality clothes cheaper than what I buy them for at Target or Walmart! The Sales were CALLING my name!! It was while we were shopping I got to catch up with Sara and her little man. We were going to try to meet her at the zoo, but with naps and kids it just did not happen, so I was VERY thankful she came shopping.
When did it get so hard to connect with old friends? The main purpose of the trip was to see Sara and I spent maybe half and hour with her. She was sweet and offered for me to meet up with her and other girlfriends for dinner, but I did not want to take up their "Sara" time. It might have been easier if I had Matt with me, but he was not able to go. Marriage, Kids, Schedules, Naps . . . they pull friends apart, but I am thankful that I know we are still friends despite the quick visit! There is nothing like seeing an old friend after 9 months and feeling like it has only been a day! I got my hug and my look at the baby, that was all I needed! Wednesday we made Bonbons and did a little more shopping before I had to head to Stockton for the kids to see their other grandparents and then heading home.
Like I said before, It sure was a nice quick trip! I also got to see a girlfriend from High School. She has a son a few weeks older than Landon, and it was fun to see her too. It makes me VERY excited to go to my High School Reunion next month . . . Oh how time flies!

Princess Party ~

So I had been searching for a Princess Dress for a while for Hailey's 3rd Birthday. I had originally wanted to get a tutu and a birthday shirt, but when I went to pick it out imagine what I thought when I came across THIS DRESS . . .Could YOU resist getting the most perfect princess dress for your little princess's birthday...
I THINK NOT!!
And she wore it ALL DAY LONG!!
It was easier to make a Collage of the birthday party pictures . . .
For other birthday parties I have actually "entertained" our guests, this year we rented a bounce house to entertain them. We had hot dogs, chips, soda, Mormon salad and a lot of fun!! The cake and ice cream was great too . . . it was a good time had by all!
Landon was excited for the big day !!!
This is Hailey enjoying the bounce house before everyone arrived . . .
And this was Hailey that night! She had to wear her princess hat to bed!
A perfect Party for our little Princess!!

WORK PARTY ~

After only TWO weeks of working we were happy to hear Matt's New Company was having a party.
It was a Carnival . . .
And we had a BLAST! They had bounce houses, cotton candy, popcorn, nachos, pony rides, door prizes (we won a $50.00 Target Gift card YESSSSSS) and GREAT food for dinner!!
Hailey and I painted some craft items the company makes. She choose the race car, and I got a flower jewelry holder. I will show you the finished project after Matt gets them finished at work. (they need to be glazed and fired to seal the paint)
We are SO thankful for Matt's new job. He LOVES the company and the people. We made friends that I am sure we will be visiting with for years to come!
I am SO thankful he comes home happy after work! It is a wonderful blessing!

She was a Princess on her First Birthday . . .

It really takes me back to look at how she was just a few short years ago . . .
Time sure does FLY when you are having fun!!

~Lefty ~ Righty~

I found out the other day that Landon is Ambidextrous . . .
He was playing with the Fisher Price Bat and Tee set he got for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa Andersen and he started holding the bat and hitting the ball with his Left Hand.
I would throw him the ball and he would pick it up with his right hand and throw it back. I did this a few times, then I decided to take the bat and put it in his right hand. I threw the ball to him and he picked it up and threw it with his left!! Then I put it on the tee and he hit with his right...
This MAY just mean that he is a Lefty (like his Uncle Preston and My Dad)
It made me wonder if he is going to do other things with his Left and Right hand...
His Grandpa and his Uncle were GREAT at sports... this is my glimmer of hope that he will be athletic.
As a side note, am I crazy that I have him practicing kicking a soccer ball when we are outside?? Daddy wants him to play whatever he wants, but I secretly want him to go after his namesake . . .
 LANDON DONOVAN.
This is Hailey giving him loves after she got off timeout for taking his bat . . .
Oh the joys of motherhood!!

F.H.E.

We were outside last night while it was sprinkiling . . .
We could see a rainbow, and when I pointed it out to Hailey she said
"CareBears! Look Daddy CareBears!"
She REALLY likes the CareBears Movie we got her recently Can't you tell ? ?

We were outside because Spencer Baker and Matt my husband were having a "fly off" with their paper airplanes they made from our F.H.E Lesson on Helping Hands.
We shared the story of the Little Red Hen and her LAZY friends who would not help her with anything. Then we talked about being HELPING HANDS and not LAZY HANDS. Hopefully Hailey took SOMETHING away from the lesson . . .
The guyes took the pictures they colored and made them into Paper Airplanes. We decided they needed to have a "fly off" outside . . .
But not before I ate this little adorable Swann. Lauren brought over her pastry goodness . . .
And Matt has to make everything gross so ... you get the picture right??
Lauren said she voted for Matt to win the fly off. She said you never bet against an engineer. So I said My money was on Spencer her husband because it is just more fun when the wifes cheer for the other husband. Good thing I did not bet REAL money or I would have lost...
anyone know how to attach a video clip on here... I got the "flyoff" on video . . . ANYWAYS
Thanks Bakers for a GREAT dinner and F.H.E. We LOVE having you so close!

Mothers Day Weekend ~

I don't THINK or SAY this enough . . .
I LOVE BEING A MOTHER ! !
I thought I might want to write that because I know we often don't feel that way.
But as of late, my children are making me LOVE it.
Hailey is ALMOST fully potty trained. It that makes me SOOOO happy. She listens to me most of the time. When I tell her time out she knows where to go, and STAYS there. When I ask her to share something she usually will. She stays on her bed for "nap time", and bedtime, and she gives me kisses without me asking. She says "I wove you mommy" after the kisses . . . It melts my heart.
Landon is just a BUNDLE of joy. He is teething again, so he likes to snuggle and giggle with me. Some days it bothers me that he wants me to hold him, but I am trying to take advantage of it now because these days will be LONG gone soon. He lays down for bed SOOOO easy, no fussing. He eats his food like a champ, he runs around and just looks SOOO adorable. And when I ask for loves he gives me a hug and a wet slobbery kiss. He is my little love bug! All the sweet things they do make the TOUGH job more enjoyable.
Matt and I find ourselves looking at each other and laughing and how funny the kids can be.
This weekend was especially wonderful because it was Mother's Day on Sunday. Saturday was a fun FILLED day . . . Matt went to help with the Mormon Helping Hands Project. Our stake helped clean up the Clovis Bike Trail. Because the Bike Trail is on a busy street we opted not to have the kids go to help. Hopefully we can get them to help with another clean up project in the future. After that we went to Michael's Craft Store. They had a FREE Cookie Decorating Class. The kids got to decorate cookies, and they turned out WONDERFUL! (Matt knows about all these craft things happening now because of where he works. . . I LOVE IT! ~)
Matt helped with Landon's his is the Star, we let Hailey do her own. I just helped squeeze her frosting out!
Doesn't that look GOOD! ? !
After that Matt surprised me with a PEDICURE! ~ I was sad that I was going to miss a pedi party that my friend was having, so he told me to pamper myself and sent me to the salon! I took my book and had a WONDERFUL time reading and relaxing. NO KIDS . . .
It was a nice start to the actual Mother's Day Celebration.
I woke up the next morning with THIS in my face . . .
Hailey was trying to get up on the bed, and saying "Mommy, Mommy LOOK!"
That my friends is Matt's FAMOUS Breakfast Burrito . . .
I has ALL of THIS in it . . .
I could only eat HALF of it . . . It was SOOO good! Hailey and I ate our Breakfast Burritos in bed, then got up to get ready for church. Landon was a sweetie and slept through breakfast.
We went to the first hour of church. Hailey has been coughing and has a runny nose, so we decided to head home and not get any kids sick right after mother's day. Matt told me I could do WHATEVER I wanted to do... so I went back to bed and got caught up on my Oprah DVR'd shows! After about an hour Hailey came in with this . . .
YEP! An Apple Turnover. I LOVE these. I giggled because it was SO cute!
We shared it, and I just sat there thinking I sure am Lucky!!
Later that night Matt made me Orange Chicken for dinner, and while we watched our Sunday Evening Shows he pulled out OREO's and Milk . . . AHHHHH! My husband knows the way to my heart!
It was a GREAT day, and I REALLY felt appreciated! We both called our Mothers and wished them a Happy Mother's Day. After all it is because of them that we are turning out to be the parents we are today . . . FABULOUS!
I only hope when I start feeling like the kids are too much that I can remember my perfect day and all the love they showed they had for me! THANKS SMOOSHIES!!

Secret Agent . . .

Yeah That is right...
I am a Secret Agent...
A BzzAgent that is.
EVER heard of it??

Google it . . . go ahead I can wait . . .

BzzAgent creates a deep connection between consumers and brands to activate word of mouth across social and offline media. Through the engagement of our network of passionate, vocal and connected consumers, we provide companies the ability activate large-scale discussions, uncover hidden value, and drive measurable results. We believe in unpaid, unscripted ethical and authentic conversations (only!).

In "Layman's Term" I get free stuff to try out from them for FREE!! Then I use it, and tell them what I think about it. AMAZING right?? We'll YOU can do it too...
WHY am I telling you this Again...
OH Yeah... my newest BzzAgent Campaign   COVERGIRL Blast
I am SO excited for this Campaign especially because I get TWO products to try out. First, LipGloss everyone knows how to put on lipgloss right?? And Second, Eyeshadow... now that my friends is a different story. I have friends who spend HOURS putting on makeup... and I have friends who wear NO makeup at all. I am a little in between. I put on a little makeup but I want it to take less than 5 minutes for everything. So I have been skipping any Eyeshadow because there has never been anything easy enough for me to do. Covergirl has changed that... with the 'smokeyshadowblast'!
It has TWO Steps ...
step one, put the rounded edge color all over the eye and blend.
step two, take the tip edge color and put it at the crease and the eyelash edge, then blend.
And that is it... you have the smoky eye look.
And let's face it the LipGloss is just a fun addition to the newness of EASY smoky eyes! It is the Shineblast LipGloss, and I love the little sparkle that it gives my lips! SO pink and SO fun for summer!
Thank You BzzAgent for Hookin' a sista up with something she will use for years to come!!
P.S. I have $2.00 off coupons for COVERGIRL Products if you want one . . .

ONE LAST TIME . . .

We had to go to John's Incredible Pizza before Hailey turned 3. After that I have to pay like $5.00 for her to eat there... so when one of my play date friends Mommy Amber told me they were going for Cinco De Mayo I HAD to join her!! The pizza was again to die for! The BBQ Chicken Ranch is my personal favorite. Travis Cluff introduced me to the Alfredo Pizza which is ALSO amazing. The kids were SO excited because we were going to play games this time!!!  Here are all the pictures . . .
Mommy Amber Rockin' out WITH a baby on her hip . . .
Hailey liked playing the guitar too . . .
THIS game was a hit!! At least with Hailey that is.
You lay back and there is a screen in front of you and you feel like you are flying.
The seat moves and vibrates to make it fun.
As you can see Landon was NOT having any of it! ~
Race Car's Anyone??
Landon sure loved Driving . . .
THIS was cool too... The Dinosaur Game.
Mommy Amber helped the kids get some dinosaurs, and the kids LOVED it!
Hailey Driving around the track in her Pink and Purple Truck . . .
Landon is Old School, he likes the Flinstone's Mobile . . .
Hailey liked the horse, and you can see Landon in the back ready to jump from the car.
Hailey and Kalos on the flying ride again! They loved it!
And this picture just made me laugh! Landon and his Blue Steel Lips...
We were there for over 3 hours. We also did the Bowling and the Air Hockey Table.
After we played we went back and got our dessert.
Both kids fell asleep on the car ride home... I love days like this!!
